Biography

Erin K. Rudert is a Partner at Ainsman Levine, LLC who focuses her practice on representing individuals and families who have been injured because of someone else’s negligence. Her practice includes personal injury litigation involving motor vehicle and trucking accidents, premises liability, dangerous or defective conditions, animal attacks, medical negligence and nursing home negligence, as well as insurance coverage and other claims involving the rights of injured people. She represents plaintiffs throughout Pennsylvania and is committed to helping clients understand their legal options and pursue the full compensation to which they may be entitled.

Erin approaches each case with a combination of personal attention, careful preparation and aggressive advocacy. She recognizes that an injury can affect every aspect of a person’s life, and she works to understand not only the legal and financial issues involved, but also the circumstances and challenges facing each client. Whether negotiating a resolution or preparing a case for trial, she focuses on developing the evidence, anticipating the opposing side’s arguments and advocating for her clients’ interests at every stage of the case.

With more than 20 years of experience practicing law, Erin brings substantial litigation and courtroom experience to her representation of injured clients. She began her legal career in 2005 after graduating cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and spent nearly a decade practicing with Edgar Snyder & Associates before joining Ainsman Levine in 2014. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and began her legal studies at La Universidad Antonio de Nebrija in Madrid before relocating to Pittsburgh.

She has been recognized repeatedly as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer, a Top 50 Female Attorney in Pennsylvania, and a Top 50 Attorney in Pittsburgh. She is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. She serves in leadership within the Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association and is a Past President of the organization. She currently is the Editor of the Association’s quarterly newsletter. She is a board member with the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, giving her an active role in advancing the interests of injured individuals and staying at the forefront of developments in personal injury law. With PAJ, she writes for the Amicus Curiae committee, providing appellate advocacy and input for the Commonwealth Court, Superior Court, and Supreme Court in Pennsylvania and the Third Circuit within the federal system. She is an elected member of the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County, an exclusive organization whose members are nominated and then elected based on trial expertise, professionalism, and dedication to the pursuit of justice in the courtroom. She is the co-chair of the Appellate Advocacy committee for ATLAC.
